AQUA-NC is a local group of queer-identified Asians, Pacific Islanders, South Asians, and Southeast Asians in North Carolina. Our mission is to facilitate a friendly, supportive, confidential and safe place for queer Asians and allies to create community. AQUA-NC was founded in October 2011 and is run by volunteers. We get together for coffee, potlucks, movie nights, dinners, and are hoping to sponsor our first film at the North Carolina LGBTQ Film Festival next year. Please email us to get involved and for other ideas, we would love to hear from you!

Thanks Dharmesh and hope to meet you soon! We are getting our googlegroups listserv and Facebook group running soon so please check back soon for more info to subscribe to those. Also we are hosting our first potluck this Saturday at 7pm in Durham. I’ll post that with all the information.
