Our mission is to facilitate a friendly, supportive, confidential and safe place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, and questioning Asians and allies to create community. AQUA-NC was founded in October 2011 and is run by volunteers. We get together monthly for coffee, potlucks, movie nights, dinners, outings, and other events primarily in the Triangle and are hoping to sponsor our first film at the North Carolina LGBTQ Film Festival next year.
